Land Professionals Group maintains its official brokerage office in Sumter, South Carolina, but our service area extends far beyond a traditional office-centered real estate market.
We serve landowners and land buyers throughout South Carolina, with a particularly strong focus on the north-central portion of the state, the Pee Dee and the Lowcountry. We are also continuing to develop our presence in the northern and western Piedmont. In North Carolina, our capabilities extend into the central and southeastern portions of the state.
Our agents are currently located in and around Kershaw, Sumter, Conway, Pawleys Island, Greenville and Clemson, giving us a growing network of land professionals across South Carolina.
Our Footprint Is Different
Most real estate companies develop outward from an office and become highly familiar with a relatively small geographic market.
Our background is different.
Many of our professionals came to real estate through careers in forestry, land management and other natural-resource professions. Long before we were marketing properties, our work required us to travel throughout South Carolina evaluating timber, managing land, working with landowners and learning the rural communities and landscapes that make different parts of the state unique.
We have traveled the back roads, walked the properties and worked in communities that many traditional real estate companies rarely encounter.
That experience has given us a working knowledge of South Carolina that doesn't stop at county lines.
Local Knowledge With Regional Reach
Land markets are local, and we recognize that being licensed to work somewhere is not the same thing as understanding the market.
That's why our regional approach combines the experience of agents located throughout the state with professionals who have spent their careers working across South Carolina's rural landscape.
From the Charlotte-influenced markets of the northern Piedmont to the farms and timberland of the Midlands, the agricultural and recreational properties of the Pee Dee, and the unique land markets of the Lowcountry, different areas require different approaches to valuation and marketing.
